Weight Watcher Slimmer of the Year

On Friday, 18th of July, underneath the breathtaking Sydney Harbour Bridge Yellowglen Jewel and Lindemans Early Harvest helped to celebrate the journey of 5 inspirational people and announce the winner of the Weight Watchers ‘Slimmer of the Year’ competition.
Moving stories, delicious food, and gorgeous – transformed people made for a fabulous event. There was not a dry eye in the house as the 5 briefly spoke of their journey, the obstacles and highlights along the way, and finally where they were today.
But the mantle could only go to one, and this year's winner goes to the inspiring Ann Mennen from Mount Helen, Victoria. Ann lost a staggering 34.3kg and is now a stunning 71.5kg, but all the finalists should be congratulated for their determination and their success.

Ryan L Foote and Yellowglen Vintage Perle – a perfect blend of skill, style and taste.

A spectacular gold mirror catwalk was the centre of attention as guests including models and artists sipped Yellowglen Vintage Perle at the stylish opening of artist Ryan L Foote’s “Exquisite Boundaries” exhibition in Melbourne.
Exquisite Boundaries is an evolving interactive exhibition developed by the acclaimed artist, which explores the entwined nature that is contemporary art and fashion. As people visited the exhibition, their photo was taken in front of a gold mirror screen, allowing a 360 degree view of what they were wearing – and what they were drinking. The pictures were then redrawn and added to gold mirror panels upon the wall in a timeline style. Perle was the one piece of continuity throughout the pictures, becoming centerpiece and forever captured within the fabulous and timeless visual magnum opus.

January 2008

Yellowglen Chief Winemaker, Charles Hargrave was joined by Wolf Blass Chief Winemaker, Chris Hatcher for a series of Masterclass tastings to introduce New 2005 Vintage Perle and the stunning new Perle NV Rosé to an audience of influential wine writers.

The events were held in Melbourne at Nobu restaurant and in Sydney at the recently revamped Rockpool (fish).

A lustrous night of Vintage Perle at Pearl Restaurant

‘Delicious’ magazine readers were treated to the finest of food and sparkling wine last Monday when Food Director of the magazine, Valli Little, joined Foster’s Chief Sparkling Winemaker, Charles (Chilly) Hargrave and renowned chef Geoff Lindsay for a night of Vintage Perle glamour at Pearl restaurant.

Vintage Perle by Yellowglen was a star attraction, matched brilliantly to Geoff Lindsay’s food including a wonderfully fragrant hibiscus flower appetiser and the Pearl signature Pearl Meat Dish.

A number of guests were lucky enough to wear Rutherford Pearls for the night – with some necklaces worth up to $25,000.

Undoubtedly the highlight of the night was a final sorbet dessert with a dash of Vintage Perle, with a toast to Chilly as he celebrated his birthday that day.
